Some mead is excellent. Some is dreadful. As for a choice between Mead & beer, it would depend on my mood and the selections of each.

A proper mead is really, really nice, in a way that few beers can match.
Unfortunately, finding a proper mead in most places is a matter of talking to a homebrewer...

Do you mean beer or mead cause if you mean the drink mead, it is awful!
