I get compliments on my guacamole ALL THE TIME. And, it's the easiest stinking recipe ever... Ready for this???
Mash your acocados and add your favorite salsa. EASY! I do usually add lime, but its fine without... and add some salt. That's it. Super easy, and very delicious.

Here is an easy guacamole recipe...
Go to your favorite mexican restaurant and get their salsa, or go to your market to the refrigerator section and get the cold salsa. Usually in the cheese section.
Get 3 large Haas avocados, riped.
Mash the avocados, add a squeeze of lemon juice (if you do not have fresh lemons, the store sells lemon juice in a bottle. Use 2 tsp). Add a generous scoop of salsa. Mix, chill for 1/2 hour, eat!
The easiest way to pit an avocado is to use a serrated knife and cut the avocado lengthwise (the long way). Twist the avocado in half. With the knife, whack at the pit and then twist, pulling the pit out of the avocado. With a spoon, scoop out the avocado.

The purpose is to prevent the guacamole from discoloring. If you don't have any you can save the pits and place them back into the mixture, cover it tightly and that will help prevent the browning as well.
FYI, I don't use lemon or lime juice ever in mine.

While the acid in citrus is supposed to keep guacamole from browning, another way is to place plastic wrap directly on top of your guacamole. Air is what causes oxidization (browning). Just make your normal recipe and try that.

sure - mash up an avocado and add whatever you want. I add a little mayo, some garlic and sometimes some chopped onion or tomato. I never use lemon or lime. If the top darkens, just stir it up before you serve it. A tiny bit of mayo makes it smoother.

Go without both, I have never heard of that and I have eaten lamb all my life. As a less tender chop they require a good 4-6 minutes per side, or long slow cooking to get the best. It is custom here to serve with a fresh mint sauce (with boiled water a bit of sugar and malt vinegar and finely sliced mint of course) H-man

It's mainly to keep the guacamole from turning brown, but you can use a few drops of plain white vinegar to do the same thing. That's what I usually use.
