i had sex before i was married, i lost my virginity young and did not care to stop did not think of the fact that god did not like that , that it was a sin. i finaly stopped at 21 years of age, and repented for my many years of sin of having sex befor mariage and did not have sex till i turned 25 when i got married. so yes i believe i was forgiven, but i still wish i had not had sex till marriage.

If by 'religion' you mean 'church'...
I turned my back to my former church using the so-called "De Gaulle method", that is, telling everyone within earshot that I was doing so, much to some people's shock and utter chagrin.
And I did it with such impunity as to 'excommunicate' myself without waiting for word from the ecclesiastical imprimaturship to be formally labeled as a 'heretic'. Hehe...

Lemme think..... I think I quit listening to Guns n Roses when I was 12 because their lyrics were "objectionable". But don't worry, I've seen the light since then.

slept with a bible under my pillow that i read every night because i thought satan was gonna abduct me.
back when i was catholic and couldn't sleep at night.
