I have been reading up on Wicca and have become extremely interested in it. How do I become a Wiccan if I decide that's what's right for me? Is it very hard to learn if you don't have any experience? Serious answers only, please.

First, ignore the people who know nothing about it yet judge it. It's not hard but it takes a great deal of learning to understand it. Here are some various sites and books, start there. Good luck!

Wicca: The Old Religion in the New Age by Vivienne Crowley
Wicca: A guide for the Solitary Practicioner by Scott Cunningham

Well, when I was in High School, my best friend was really into Wicca. He started out by reading on material ( as you are doing), and then he progressed into more advanced stages of it. He started practicing spells, and cantations. He has now been practicing the Wicca religion for 6 years. I must say that he has done some amazing things ( things I WILL NOT say because people wont believe it anyway) by choosing Wicca as a religion. I find it interesting myself, but I would never join it. I think that you should start reading the material, and then start off with some light spells, such as love spells, friendship spells, and health spells. Try something that doesn't require a lot of a lot of skill. After that, if you still find that you would like to continue with the religion, then I think you should try spells that will do no harm to others, and to yourself. But, remember, you should err on the side of caution because it can be very powerful if you believe in it. I think you should go slow, and don't try to rush it. If I weren't into other things myself, I might have joined that religion, but I have other things that I practice more. I wish you the best of luck though, and I hope that you continue with it!

Also, you can become part of a coven when you find people who are into the same things that you are.

It isn't difficult but takes time and dedication. You can self-initiate, or you can try to find a coven in your area.
Go to the site below. The page has stores listed for each state/other countries. You may be able to find someone to help guide you if you choose to join a coven. If you would like to go the solitary route, or just want more information, pick up a copy of Wicca-A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham. It is very informative. I also posted other links below where you can find covens and get more information on Wicca. Blessings!
You may also contact me at any time if you have any questions! I am not an expert by any means for it is a lifetime of learning, but I will do my best.

EDIT-Do not listen to those who tell you it will make you unhappy. Since choosing my path I have become more at peace and content than I have ever been before in my life. If it is right for you, it will bring you great contentment and joy!

No, it's not hard, but at the same time it's not a cake walk, either. It's a way of life just like any thing else.

If you don't have anyone to learn from personally, then I suggest getting your hands on as many books as you can, and learn from them. Wicca is a very ecclectic thing. There is no wrong way to practice it. You can be very strict and go "by the book" with every spell or ritual you do, or it can be as simple as going on a walk in the woods and just feeling the world around you.

Also, don't let folks discourage you in your journey. Even if one day you find that it is not the path for you, the things you learn about yourself along the way is sometimes the best thing. Personally, in my studies, I found that the books by Scott Cunningham and Raymond Buckland were very informative, but that's just me. You might find books that work better for you by different authors. Don't be afraid to branch out.

Good luck, and Blessed Be!!

The traditional process is to be declared an initiate, or to declare yourself an initiate if you're intending to be a solitary practitioner.
There is a simple dedication ceremony to introduce yourself to the powers that be, and then a year and a day of study time to learn as much as you can about wicca. At the end of that period, you again face a decision to continue your path or explore other avenues.
A good place to ask questions and get information is here;

Wicca is a form of religion, so there's bound to be someone near you that already is into it, and, if not, check the Occult or Spiritualism sections of stores for references to people if you're looking for someone to learn from. I myself am not Wiccan, so I wouldn't know if it's hard or not, but good luck.

Wow I'm sorry, however the United States Government has permitted it as a faith. Now onto your definitions of occult. a million. handling supernatural impacts. close to each and every faith offers with a supernatural affect. two. when you consider that no faith has been tested but all of them are past human information. three. such a lot religions have a few variety of an initiation. four. hidden from view, good shall we seem at one of the vital trendy religions for the period of historical past a million. Christianity used to be hidden for six hundred years two. Judaism; are we able to say Holocaust three. Any faith that's no longer Christianity for the duration of the crusades. So I bet in keeping with your possess phrases each and every faith has been an occult at one time or one more. No, I'm no longer precisely a Wiccan, however while you name them nature freaks and known as them an occult I felt that I needed to safeguard them. Now to disprove you. three and four. No it is not mystery, if it used to be then how are you aware approximately it? Most Wiccans do not cover who they're, and I do not blame those that do. Since their are a few folks that dislike what they do not realize. Secondly how are they hidden, I can uncover Wiccans at any place I cross. I wish sooner or later that folks will quit hating folks for his or her ideals.

There are many Wiccan worship groups all over the place. I suggest you find one in your area. I belong to the Church of the Spiral Tree in Auburn, AL. It's a faerie faith group that welcomes all. Just look for groups near you. Often colleges have at least one pagan/wiccan group on campus. Another place to check would be magic shops in your area.

What is Wicca in the eyes of your creator? Is he going to accept that from you because your desire goes that way? Your creator created you for him, and created every thing else for you, he feeds you and gives you the health and wealth to turn to him not else.
I ask Allah to guide you all to his straight path.
