i think eddie izzard said it best during his dress to kill special.

"cake or death?"

its a false choice, this free will. you can choose to denounce god, but then you go to hell for an eternity of torture. who would in their right mind do that???
its not a choice like apple or orange, where both of them have ok endings and its just a matter of preference.
which is why i'm an atheist.
;o)

You have free will, as God gives us free will to choose. If you choose to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior or not is your choice. If you choose not to than hell is your destiny, as Jesus said if you deny him, he will deny you to the father. Perhaps you should read the book of John in the New Testament, or 1 John in the New Testament. Christians do not say you will go to hell, the Bible says it. Christians just try to bring many to the realization that salvation thru Jesus is the only way to heaven.

God isn't forcing you to believe. He's only saying. Believe in him or he'll burn your soul for eternity. You've still got a choice.

God gave us this great gift of life and choice. With this Gift God said you can do what ever you want with your life, but if you don't do as I say then your soul will burn in an unquenchable fire for all eternity.

You have that choice. God loves you enough to give you the choice of pain or heaven. He doesn't use fear or blackmail it's humans who are afraid of God's wrath. Which he doesn't use anymore because now he's the god of love and forgiveness....

No one is forcing you to accept the beliefs of any religion. In the Bible, it says," that those who do not believe are already condemned".What you do, or don't do is up to you. I am a Catholic, and I want you to be saved, but it's your decision. I'm not in the least bit presurring you to do something against your will, and neither is the Creator, who gave you free will.

You do have free will. It is your free will whether you accept Christ or not. No one is going to twist your arm and make you. But, at least you know the consequences if you don't. It's like people have the free will to rob a bank or to commit murder. But, if they exercise that free will, there will be consequences.

of course you have the complete right to accept or reject whatever you want .All i know is that Jesus the Christ went through hardships so he can teach us and make us reach salvation. He went through pains and horrible things for our sakes and to show us the message he got from God .Hence, i think one should think about all the great things that the Christ did for us and then let his/her conscience choose.

Not much different from the type of "free will" you have when someone is pointing a gun at you and making demands.
