I can't wait to hear the spin on this. We're supposed to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people. ( Note: My information is from Time magazine )

I feel sad that the "mission" over there has been lost. I feel angry that so many of our military have died, and so many civillians there have died. I feel frustrated that Saddam is on trial still, while the people of his country still live dirty and poor in war torn villages and towns. I feel angry that Bush has lied to the people of our country and sickened that there was a majority that swallowed his load of crap. I feel like there is not going to be a good end to this whole ordeal. I feel like those who did the shooting will be held accountable because someone found out about it.
The military also tortured those people in Abu Grahb prison, and it took years for Bush's approval rating to drop. That makes me feel sick.

The children were tragically being USED as shields by IRAQI's that were shooting at the Marines. What were the Marines suppossed to do? Time magazine, much like the rest of the "main stream" media is leftist and biased. You won't get the true or the whole story. We are supposed to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi's, we are supposed to help them govern their own country and live in peace. However, the simple fact is most Muslim/Islamic's Mid East Arabs, DON'T want peace. They love war and have absolutely NO respect for life. They kill their own children. Behead their own women. What do you expect from people who hide behind women and children??

The spin is obvious. The kids were terrorists. Eight year olds are plotting to overthrow the American way of life. The sad part is, Americans overwhelmingly don't give a ****. As far as they're concerned, anyone with a tan and an accent plotted 9/11 and should be shot.

I am hardly answering the original question but I can't help observe how many idiots come on this forum. These are the same "pro life" people who won't let a woman have an abortion, yet they are quite happy with marines killing kids. The only reason you conservative ***** get a chance to open your mouths here or anywhere is because the liberals work very hard to keep free speech free.

Insurgents kill the Iraqi people on a regular basis. Just a few days ago insurgents pulled 21 people off a public bus and killed them. "Police said that the other dead included pensioners and children. They said that 19 Shia and two Kurds were murdered "execution-style"" That is what we are trying to stop.

Haditha was a terrorist stronghold. The people killed had just attempted to murder those marines with an explosive device. Children died because the terrorist scum used them as human shields.

This is very common for terrorists to do. They have absolutely no problem with killing children, including their own to get people like you to turn against our troops. For example, they will put children near an explosives factory in the hope that they will be killed when the americans blow it up. Then, they claim that americans were targeting children (and stupid people like you believe them).

its very hard to tell who is innocent in iraq, if some one makes a sudden movement whether its puttin up there hands, pullin out a gun, or blowin themselves up, i heard a soldier went to help a wounded iraqi and then the iraqi blew him self up with the soldier, and another soldier saw a wounded iraqi and then the iraqi rolled over so the the soldier shot him. its very harsh over there, but i give the marines the innocent.

and listen to what proud american said

Would you have prefered that these 'innocent' children had killed the Marines? The investigation is not over and no one has been charged with anything. I'll take a few 'innocent' deaths over any of our troops.

Why do you feel the need to **** all over the people who help defend your freedom and your right to make such idiotic observations? I know the performance of the Bush Administration during this war leaves much to be desired. And I don't condone what happened at Abu Gharib. But the military personnel over there need our unconditional support.

As usuall, they killed a lot of innocent people in Iraq and don't forget in Afghanistan too.
While they can't find militias, they shoot into crowd. But nobody don't care to killing innocent people. They pretend to want arrestead or kill "Al-Qaede" members, they are killing people just for US benefits. It's mean Oil and control over strategic positions, like Persian Gulf.
