To see the best results and to increase your metabolism you should aim for between 1,500 and 1,700 calories per day while eating at least six times a day. Eat a meal replacement bar for breakfast and before lunch eat a fruit of your choice, keep in mind that berries increase the amount of calories your body burns and celery and cucumbers use more calories digesting than they contain. Each lunch, lean more towards healthy then taste, but to get both try a Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones, or Healthy Choice frozen meal selection for lunch and before dinner have another fruit of your choice. Lastly, eat dinner but try and keep it simple; meat, some carbs, and a salad instead of fried foods. But, above all else portion control is the key to any diet. If you manage to stick to it this one works, I've lost ten pounds in the past two weeks.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

You're missing the point! It means you should cut 500 calories a day out of what you are CURRENTLY eating. So, figure out how many you are currently consuming, and cut 500 from THAT.

Well, you have to find out how many calories you burn daily. If you burn 2500 calories a day, then eat 2000 calories a day.
