i don't think god favors anyone from the way i understand the bible and all that jazz.
i think only the gay people who are out of the closet are the successful ones. the white trash gay guy is probably too homophobic to admit he's gay, and he's probably been brainwashed by his not-so-smart-neighbors.

No. I do not think Gay people are more well educated or financially well off. I think that the well educated and financially well off are more opened minded on the subject and thus Gay can come out more in those communities. There are a lot of dumb poor gay people but they are the ones who would be beaten or killed if they ever came out.

The Bible is clear in showing that God does not favor homosexuals. 1 Cor. 6:9, 10: "What! Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God's Kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men ... will inherit God's Kingdom." However, people can change. If immoral persons change, they can gain God's favor.
This is shown by the following in the same chapter - "And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God."
God does not hate people. (1 John 4:8; John 3:16.) However, he hates the evil things people do. 2 Peter 3:9 says: "Jehovah ... is patient with you because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance."

When the Bible states, " look not upon the riches of others, so as to be envious, as they have their portion in this life," it means that, as Christians or any God-fearing person, we should strive for spiritual things/matters over temporal ones. God knows the things that we have need of, even before we ask(in prayer) and will provide/supply as he sees fit.
Take the 23rd Psalm for example, The Lord is my shepherd, I SHALL NOT WANT.
God WILL supply all our needs and wants, but let your requests be made known unto HIM, ask believing and ye shall receive.
Prov. 13: v 12-14
There is a way which seemeth right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.
The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
As Christians we must remember to put God first in everything.
About gay people, they have their portion in this life. God sent FIRE and BRIMSTONE to burn Sodom and Gomorrah for their unnatural affection for same sex relations.
The destruction of these two evil cities are found in Genesis 19 v 1-26.

God does pour his blessing on the just and the unjust... which lets us realize how merciful God is. God's mercy will endure forever... However, since Satan, is god of this earth, I believe that that is the actual reason why many gays flourish on earth. Satan has no reason to withhold his goods especially when you are following his plans to destruction. Actually, the Anti-Christ will have gay tendencies. The bible says that he will have no regard for women! The UNHOLY TRINITY follows and embraces the gay agenda!

God may favor them, but he for sure lets those gays make lots of money. Gays have the nicest houses, dress really well and have an impeccable image... Queer eye for the Straight guy anyone?

Hehe....You're so right! Every gay friend I've ever had has been educated, goal-oriented, self-sufficient, financially stable and they have awesome homes or apartments! OMG! Its like a gay/decor genious gene!
