I lost my niece 2 months ago, I can't begin to tell you how much I miss her. I don't think there is one day that has went by that I haven't cried because I miss her so much. there has not been one minute that she hasn't been on my mind. I have never felt so much hurt in my life! but at the same time, I know she is in heaven and doing things that she could never do here. I wouldn't bring her back for the world, but I would love to be where she is right now. one day, I will be with her again, I wouldn't bring anyone back to this world filled with hurt, pain and hate just to make ME feel better.. I guess I'm not that selfish.

No, because the stranger who takes their place will (usually) leave a heartbroken family, friends and other people who knew them who would miss and grieve for their loss. Why do that to a stranger when you would not consider doing it to your own family?
I also believe thatif anyone could be brought back, many people would make the wrong decision, choosing someone they never knew like a celebrity, or someone who could not equal the loss of that stranger and the skills lost. It would also be wrong to play God, and I believe that in our modern sophisticated world, with highly advanced medical technology, we have forgotten how to accept death as a natural process. We can now keep people alive with medical intervention, but often simply because we cannot let them die painlessly and quickly. It was sais in Harry Potter- To the well organised mind, death is but the next big adventure.
Email me if you disagree, because I WILL stand my ground.

I lost my dear brother one year ago May 24th to a drunk driver. My family and I miss him beyond words. But, we have all discussed this impossible scenario since his death and all agree that we feel he's gone home to Heaven and he's dancing, singing, and worshipping God right at this moment. Would we be selfish enough to take that from him and bring him back to a world that gets worse by the day? The answer is No. We are going to see him again and we are determined to be content with that.

I might want to but I don't think I could. We all learn to live without dead people so we accept that they are gone. We should not allow someone else to suffer unnecessarily for our own gains. I would love to see my grandparents and my uncle again. There are others I would like to be able to bring back too but I couldn't hurt someone else to have that.

Hmm...innnteresting ethical dilemma. Anyone...do you bring back someone close to you, who would give you some personal joy to have back in your life, or do you choose a great thinker - Einstein say - give him another crack at theat Grand Unifying Theory, or Jesus, to ask him exactly what was in Testament 3...
Ultimately though, let's focus here - those who are gone are gone. Dying is part of what defines us. And no-one else's life is yours to sign away. So I couldn't do that.
Does it become a different question id you have to give up your OWN life to bring them back? Anyone?

No. You shouldn't mess around with things like that. If someone is dead they are meant to be dead. More importantly whose life have you taken away. It could have been a doctor who was about to discover a cure for cancer. Not a good idea.

I would kill someone at random then bring that person back from the dead using their life as the sacrifice.

I am so dumb! One time i accidentally threw some whitey tighties in the wash with some red towels and shirts. Guess what? Now I have pink panties! Can you believe it? Imagine a rown man walking around in pink panties! Ha Ha. Maybe I should put sme mascarra behind my glasses so I could see what I was doing! I had to promise myself to never wear them unless I 1) had no clean undies, or 2) was going to a Cher or John Mayer concert

No. What returns from the dead returns changed, and never for the better. It's dangerous. It CAN be done to an extent, and it's NEVER a good idea.

No. I'd be messing with God's will, and that is wrong. Plus, I would feel more than guilty having killed an innocent person that I don't know. Although, I love my deceased family as if they were alive and I miss them. But I know that they are in Heaven, a better place.
