Then what's the point of Judgement Day??
If God has a plan for you, is it just something He "hopes" you stick with? I mean, if He really has a plan for everyone, then He chose Ted Bundy's career of murdering young women, or did God lose control of Ted? If God doesn't make mistakes, then why do we have criminals? If God lets man make his own decisions, then how could he have a "plan" for you?

Okay. Why would God make a plan AND give free will?? That doesn't make ANY sense! What a waste of time!

"pinky" there are many criminals that believe in God. Look at Sept. 11, 2001!

I'll put it this way. If I knew that I had absolute power over what direction my kids take, I would make damn sure they didn't end up a serial killer! Free will?? Only unless I WANTED to take the risk.

Yes, God has a plan for everyones life. But,we also have free will, some of us never use the plan that God has for us, some of do not understand the plan that He has for us until late in life. As far as serial killers go, God loves them just like He does everyone. But, people that are like that obviously have been influenced by the devil or are very sick. We cannot speak for God. We cannot know what His intentions are for a specific persons life. The only thing that we can do is trust Him in our own lives.

God has a plan for everyone.
We have choices to follow His plans or go out on our own. That's what free will is all about. Trust me God doesn't lose control of anyone. If so no one would be posting anything b/c some fool would have blew the world by now.

Just because God has a plan doesn't mean that people always follow it. He promises that He does know all the plans He has for each life (Jeremiah 29:11) but because of free will we don't always work with God's plan. If you seek His will for your life, then you are abiding by His divine plan for you but if you choose to do things your own way, like what Ted Bundy did, that doesn't mean this was the fate God destined you for. Criminals aren't a result of a mistake made by God, they're a result of a fallen world that has lost contact with God's plan and intention for His creation. God wants each one of us to seek His will for our lives but He doesn't force us to obey, which is why we can make our own decisions but still know that God has a plan for each person. It's up to each individual to choose to follow God's way, the way of life, or their own, which will always fall short of the glory of God.

In the beginning when Satan seduced Eve into sinning against God, he told her that God didn't want her to be wise, and that was why he forbid both her and Adam from eating of the tree of the knowledge of good & evil and the tree of life. Humans didn't have free will or a choice in serving God, before then. Think about it evedently they had to have been in the garden of Eden for a good while, obeying God's orders, and Satan was watching them (seeking whom he may devour) just waiting to seize his opportunity (when he could speak to one of them alone), and naturally he got his chance, and here we are today, sinning to the best of our ability.
Romans 3: v 23.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
It is not God's will that men should perish in sin.
God's Plan for us is Eternal Life.
St. John 3: 16-17
For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved.

I don't believe God has "a plan" for me. I believe God works through people and situations, but not in controlling ways, or ways that make us robots. We have free will, we can make decisions. God's "will" generallly seems to me to be that people seek justice for the poor and downtrodden, Take care of the widows and orphans seems to be the theme throughout the OT, and Jesus modeled living out the commandment to love God and love our neighbor.

God does have a plan for you. You were given certain unique talents. The thing is whether you CHOOSE to use your gifts for God's glory or not. He gave us free will, remember that. The whole plan thing will only work if you stick w/ Him. Judgement Day will be when we have to give personal account for our lives...in other words...did you follow through w/ God's plan or not?

I think God knows where we are going, and what we are to become, and gives us free will to get there. Not a plan so much, but more like he knows the end of the story before it is written.
On the other hand, for those that believe in him, I think he has a plan for them. I think because of their belief, he has a purpose for them to fulfill. So, for non-believers, its all up to them, but for believers, God has a hand in it,.
"ALL things work together for good, for them that love God", it doesnt say its for everybody.

Be very careful the following, you're on risky grounds. try to be completely satisfied and particular that you'll always love G-d whatever. featuring disaster of religion, doubts, mess ups, suffering, unfairness in this existence, being rejected for loving G-d a lot, etc. And all this no longer in basic terms now yet until eventually you supply your very last breadth. in case you sense and comprehend consisting of your thoughts you need to do it, then in basic terms kneel and ask for the Holy Spirit who will seal you and make you shut to to G-d as you not in any respect ought to imagine. yet comprehend that you seriously is not completely loose to make your thoughts up on out once this step has been taken.

God does have a plan for each of us but He also gives us free will. He is a gentleman, He won't force His way on us. He invites us to become His children but never forces us.
