It is a fact of life that humans have a natural biorythm that causes sleepiness about 4 p.m. Barring your boss allowing you to take a nap, I'd suggest eating a Powerbar, and getting away from your desk for 5 minutes if you can for a little stretching and deep breathing.

Try eating a high protien and fresh frut and vegetable lunch and stay away from carbs, processed foods, and high sugar products. I am on a gluten-free diet and find it has greatly increased my energy level throughout the day, but I especially notice how much more alert I am in the afternoon, now. That used to be a major problem for me, also. Hope this helps, Judy

*** I use this product and LOVE it! It's kind of expensive, but it's worth it.
