This sweet little boy is scared of black people and dark tan people and indians anyone with darker skin, what can done about this we (his mother, me and others) tried explaining that I was just darker skinned from my tan and that other skin colors vary, but he's also scared of the nieghbors that just transferred from Africa. They have a child the same age who wants to play...But this little boy is scared of him.

Let him explain Why he is scared and go from there. Make sure to listen to him carefully; the answer will be in there somewhere. Also, find out if he has seen (TV or in person) any darker-skinned bad people. It sounds like he may have never seen a darker-skinned person. If that is the case, just explain that God made everyone different-- size, hair, eyes, skin color, etc.-- and that there are good and bad people of ALL skin colors. The song "Jesus Loves the Little Children" may help. Good luck. :)

Well i think the little boy needs to go see some kind of doctor to help him get over it. And for the parent of the kid,she its her fault. And if it isn't she needs to find out who's it is. I mean somebody had to put that crap in his head to make not like people darker skinned people than him. Something waz done 2 that boy but someone darker skinned than him,or somebody just put very stupid things in his head about people with darker skin than him. Which probably scared him,which is why he is still scared!!! So he needs 2 go to a doctor that can help him and make him see that there's nothing different about people with darker skin than him. Which i bet will help!!!

Maybe it's adults he's scared of. He would probably be more accepting of darker-skinned children than adults...how about his Mom rents some multicultural books from the library and explains to him that there are many different kinds of people, and they are all equal, and good friends come in all colors?

teach the boy about the different cultures now before it is to late. there is no reason a 4 year old should behaving this way. it is up to the parents to teach the boy about the different cultures in society.

Im sure he will get used to it. these may be the first people with dark skin he has seen.

Over time hell learn. I suggest just trying to teach him, or get some counseling.
