Hair grows, on average, 1/2 an inch a month. So, depending how short your bangs are and to what length you want to grow them it should take a couple months. In the meantime, clip them back with cute clips or trendy headbands. If you keep them out of your way you will be less likely to get frustrated and cut them.

Ha! Funny you should ask cuz I just went through this, after 7 months of growing my bangs out, they were still at an uncomfortable place, they'd still stick me in the eyes occasionaly. But at 7 months they were down to my chin. I got sick of it though, I missed my bangs and I just cut them 2 weeks ago..and now I remember why I always had bangs. But it's fun to go without them for a while.

it usually grows half an inch for a month. So if your bangs are really short right now, it'll take longer than if you have a little longer bangs.
