While the whole thing may be pointless. I am 100% behind them.

A good friend of mine lost his son last year. He was just about 22 years old and was in his third tour there.

He is my new hero.

YES. Why would I not? The soldiers are serving us, the citizens. They don't directly make the decisions about the war. There are many factors that go into the governmental decisions, and the soldiers political opinions have only a small influence on American foreign policy. Those men and women are just doing a job. They work hard, and they are far more likely to die than most of us here. We all should just be glad that they have stepped up to serve.

I am a very liberal democrat, but I cannot stand anyone who does not support the troops. If you are a democrat or liberal and you do not support the troops--we're not talking about the war--just the troops, then you need to take some serious time to reconsider. It is fundamental issues like this one that give the dems and liberals a bad name. Just because you are a liberal, you don't have to be against the troops just to have something to complain about.

I hate you if you don't support the troops, and I hope someone tapes your mouth shut and makes you suffer.

Absolutely! Regardless if a person believes we should be in Iraq or not, the soldiers did not make the choice, the president did. The soldiers are doing the job they volunteered to do. They deserve our full and complete support.

Of course I support our soldiers. I don't support the cause that they are fighting for. I support any cause that our soldiers are fighting for as long as they are in the benefit of the United States. The war in Iraq is clearly for the benefit of another country, a country of people that would rather see us dead.

Yes

You have to support the soldiers in Iraq, or anywhere in the world.

Doesn't matter if you agree with the war or not.

Soldiers don't have a choice weather they want to be there or not. They are ordered to go and they have to obey orders.

Only Jerks would not support our good people in Iraq.

Be thankful there are people willing to join the military, otherwise people would be drafted, and we wouldn't want that.

I support the soldiers, as they are merely doing what they were told.
However, I don't support the government who sent them there in the first place.
There's a difference.

I totally support our soldiers, they are leaving their families and dying. It makes me sad to see Americans not supporting our soldiers. Also, I did not vote for President Bush and nor do I think he is a good president, but that is what we have to deal with and until he is out of office I will support our President.
