How old is she?... My daughter was trying sometimes, but was still in diapers (pull-ups too expensive). Then I started have her wear training panties (age 2yrs 9mo) during the day. We soon were using them all the time. It took 2 to 3 weeks for accidents mostly stop. They all will come to it in their own time, but my advise is to talk about how much easier it will be for her to poop in the toilet and just flush it away, and how it will be less messy. Put it in the toilet a few times and let her flush it away and tell it "Bye-bye". She'll love it!

Actually i hear that showing your child how you do it can help...cause you know how much your kids want to be like you :) Just a suggestion....my son isnt potty trained yet but I work in a daycare and I have heard this option before :) Hope that helps!

it takes time. it's easier to pee pee in the potty than it is to poo. she probably is not comfortable just yet sitting on the potty trying to poo. it takes time. pee pee always comes first and it's faster so she can get back to wat she was doing.
