It it actually loosing fur? Cats generally have less fur around the front of their ears...for whatever reason. If this is something more than that, then you should look for skin diseases around the area, or fleas.

yes its normal my cats have that too they rub the side of their head on everything to get their sent on it so they lose the hair in that spot if its something worst go to the vet

The same thing happened with my cat! It was caused my stress from all of my other animals. We went to the vet and they gave us medicine adn now she's better than ever.

I could be anything from food allergies to flea bite dermatitis to ringworm or ear mites, or ever poor diet. Only a vet could tell you.

my friend has a cat who also was losing its fur
it is caused by food allergies..you cat may be allergic to the food your feeding it.. take it to the vet & see what they can recommend
