The walls are there so that the Gates have something to attach to. If the Gate was there and the Walls weren't it would be like locking your car and leaving the widow open.

And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass (Rev. 21:12,21). Some Bible scholars believe that these gates of pearl suggest salvation by grace. Even as a wound to an oyster results in the formation of a valuable pearl, the gates of heaven can be entered only because the Lord Jesus was "wounded for our transgressions" (Is. 53:5). Although men wickedly rejected Him and crucified Him, it was through this death that salvation was made possible. Now, all who believe on Him can look forward to entering the pearly gates of heaven. Jesus Himself said, "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved" (John 10:9).

The gates are open at all times and in every direction, for salvation is still offered freely to everyone. The angels who keep watch at the open gates, therefore, are a wonderful contrast to the cherubim who guarded the closed gate of Eden after Adam and Eve sinned. These angels keep the way of access open, while the cherubim kept the Garden closed to fallen humanity.

There was a golfer who hit his first shot into the woods. Finding his ball in a clearing, he knew he could take a full swing, and he tried to hit the ball through a small opening between the trees, but the ball struck one tree, ricocheted, struck him in the forehead, and killed him immediately.

As he approached the Pearly Gates, St. Peter looked up and said, I thought you were supposed to be a good golfer!

And our hero quipped, "I got here in two!"

(Clearly, the Pearly Gates are needed to support good clean jokes like this. I guess the walls are needed to support the Pearly Gates -- and maybe they also help keep the non-members off the course!)

cause without walls, every dead soul would just coming running in. and god in his all powerfulness didn't want everyone in heaven, so he put up gates and walls...
if the bible had been written in modern times i can't help but think heaven would be a giant office building with a revolving door, reception desk and security camera...all made of gold of course.
it is interesting how the bible tends to only relate to items of old, there is no horseman riding around with a portable quantum cruise missle launcher. so i would really say, your gates and walls thing comes into play with this...its what was best known and understood at the time as how a grand city looked.

According to the Bible and the Greek translations The Gates of Heaven are made of one huge pearl each, Streets of gold, and walls of jasper. The walls are there because God wanted that way. According to the Bible they are 1500 hundred miles long in each direction and 1500 miles high.

hey pervey pirate, the walls are made of jasper and the city of pure gold so pure it's clear as crystal. the gates are made of gigantic pearls. one gate, one pearl. and no matter what any smart *** says, you'll be there.
hey pervey pirate, did you know you read the bible more than those people who think you're lost? you see people who attend services are like most people in the country, they hardly ever read the bible. they don't want to. they'd run across the stuff that you bring up and they'd have to think. just the idea of having to think on stuff they've always accepted presses on their brains in a bad way.

...if you read the last two chapters of the bible, you see that heaven comes to earth.. and folks are resurrected on the 'last' day (of this apocalyptic world).. no floating around.. The walls and gates may be allegorical.. personally, I like walls.. growing a hedge around my property right now.. so it's nice and cozy..

god is the sum of his parts thus god=7154=17=8=h thus it was said god is in heaven. so draw a body for the h and n in heaven and see its a funeral. the h is god and n is his grandfather with one arm. and god is burying his father. this is a true story.

the only way for this Lamb to be ressurected is to not really have been SLAIN or DIED so those words have come to mean something else to you but in reality they are what they say.

I read bible code also and squish these letters together
Larrib and what do they spell?

Check Rev.17.14
and how does a Lamb who was SLAIN or DIED rise up?
SL A I IV as in SiL A I IV (seal a I IIII cut)
DIED as in to DI (add a DI)
thus it means something different then what you were taught.

Thus a Larri with arm cuts that appear as"IIII I ."

and that answers Rev.19.12 as the Name written is IIII I . and eventually that was why god=DIO.

and as LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS he is living in CANADA thus its true that the U.S.A. is one nation under god.

and why is he also KING of ANGELS?
Abaddon= A b add on not a bad don.
and b=a DI stitched together.

but they rebel against HIM because its too unbelievable that long dead Jesus saw Me in the future.

I II III IIII....
a b c d....

coded to honour god the emperor.

why bcause EMPEROR is the sum of his parts thus add him up till he is represented by one number. 513165181518=45=9 thus coded into numbers EMPEROR=9 so numbers coded to honour god the emperor means

I II III IIII = A EMPEROR thus II III IIII is 9 as the EMPEROR so they describe the emperor as both his wrists. they one on the left shows a I III I pattern and the right is clear.

read the word EMPEROR with understanding the R has a hidden i written on top of it.

one theory of BIBLE and EMPEROR.

As coded to honour god.

and prove of god over time is Ceasar's calendar. search for the h and see a description of god who is h. its the same forward or reverse.

and why does don=6 and loser=6 because bible states all praise reserved for the LORD.

and WINNER=b
and b=a DI stitched together.

and that man is Me. one soul apeice because bible explains each living thing has a soul.

so to answer your question for Me heaven was a time and place where he a V (5 years old) and burying his father in winnipeg's brookside cemetary. and george really did have only I arm.

Source(s):

BIBLE and DIO as IIII I .

John 3:5 Jesus answered,"Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except
a man be born of Water [and] of The Spirit, he CAN NOT (enter)
into the ...Kingdom of Heaven."
So when a person asks Jesus into their hearts ..and..is Baptized..IN WATER...just as Jesus Himself was...(out of obedience) then and only then ...can that person ENTER those gates...when they die from this world...
