Since the Bible is clear that no one knows when Jesus will return. Jesus while on Earth did not know that, so I would think that Satan doesn't know either. If that is the case does satan have a anti chirst availible at all times? Or he is always trying to get one to that level of power (ie Hitler) but will keep failing until God is ready? The alternative is God is waiting on satan and I don't see that.

The spirit of antichrst is working all the time because Satan is the prince and power of the air. 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: The real antichrist will show up until after the church is gone off the earth and he will not be born but resurrected. Revelation 17: 8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

I think that satan is constantly challenging God and God just keeps on outmaneuvering him. Don't forget that the Holy Spirit is acting as a restrainer on the evil of men in general; when He is offended and withdraws (or when the local church disobeys and falls away) so that there is little or no influence of grace or truth to oppose the evil, it can grow. Imagine being on a spaceship, with vacuum surrounding us. It doesn't necessarily attack, but it will take advantage of any mistake, any slight error or flaw, and the pressure is automatic and continuous.

Besides, satan knows he can't beat God. satan already tried that and failed. But satan is blinded by his own evil, he is trying the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result.

When God's great work of redemption is drawing to a close, when the Church is almost complete and nearly everybody that is to be saved is saved, satan is supposed to be released for a while, so that God will have one last all-out, no-holds-barred match, and satan will get a final whupping, and God will get even more glory for it.

After that, God will have no more use for satan, and he can be thrown into the garbage dump to be burned along with everybody else who did now want to be part of God's plan and purpose.

First John 2:18 Says "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that anti christ shall come, even now are there many anti christs; whereby we know that it is the last time." First John 2:22 says " Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti christ, that denieth the Father and the Son." According to this there are many anti christs already in the world but Jesus told us to watch, there will be some that shall arise and deceive many and if it were possible they would deceive even the elect of God (Mathew 24:24) I would suggest reading REVELATIONS. I am at work and would like to take more time with this but can't. Read your bible every answer you seek is within it's pages. God Bless You.

Evil is at work all the time just as good is at work. Yin and yang. It's a constant battle. I believe we'll see the return of Jesus when we have failed in the battle against evil and given power to the anti-Christ. No matter what the stories tell about the anti-Christ being such an admirable person, that is not possible. No matter what decisions a person makes, and no matter their position, they cannot possibly satisfy the will of all people.

The Anti-Messiah spirit is already here! the Apostle John talked about it and what it is. A study of "End Times" also reveals that Satan will posses or in-dwell the Beast. make no bones about it God is in control at all times. Even when man thinks himself to be in control or that there is No God. in the days of Noah the world view was worse than even today! though we are catching up to that level of depravity. regardless of what anyone says or thinks remember that God is in control and what the Devil intends for evil God will turn to good. All things work for the good of those who love the Lord... Fear not nor be vexed for all shall see the great and glorious day of the Lord. The question is what side will you be on?

You are thinking of thing in terms of time and space. God is omniscient. He sees the future as clearly as he sees the past. Jesus is not "waiting for the anti-Christ to come" before He returns...He already knows when and where those events will take place. Satan is not omniscient, and the anti-christ will come as "a natural flow of events" in space and time. We may not be able to clearly see when that time will come, but God already knows...

The anti-christ is not an agent of Satan though. He is an agent of God (SO TO SPEAK) to begin the end of the World, or tribulation if you like. God knows the hour, and although Satan will have his hand in it, the Anti-Christ himself is not Satan, nor will work for him until that time God so ordains. Hope that makes sense.

God and Satan are not equals or peers. God will right all that is wrong in the world, so whether there is an anti-Christ waiting or developing is of no consequence.

Jesus said that no one would know the day of the rapture. though the antichrist will appear shortly thereafter and start the era of a false peace, that person will not be revealed until the rapture. "anti christ" is a spirit. though there will be one man that is called "the antichrist", just a peek into today's society will tell you that the spirit of antichrist is already in full swing.

1 John 2:18-21 should clear that up. It's been around a long time.
