I met him online we IMed for a couple week, we get along fine. I am not the prettiest woman either but I really thing there needs to be some sort of physical attraction between people before they can make anything work. I am wondering if I should give him another chance or just let him go and see who else it out there?

It's up to you whether or not to give him a second chance. But either way, you should just be straight out with him and tell him that you like him as a friend but you are not romantically attracted to him at this point. That way, at least you get your point across and still leave the door open for more.
But I totally agree on the physical attraction part. However, you can still develop the physical attraction toward someone as time goes on. So...good luck to you!

Just don't lead him on. End things before you get too attached, otherwise it makes ending it that much harder.

well if you feel you dont have anything in common with him than why waste your time with him? so if i were you i would let him go.
