First, ones who has been there an know what you're talking about and,

Second, ones who have been there but want to put you down so that they feel more like the man that they are afraid that they are not and,

Third, ones who are so self-confident that they are obnoxious.

"Getting balls" as you term it is not something you can get at the store or by wishing and hoping or by getting the right answer to your question. It is only available to those who will walk through the fear. Ask yourself, "what is the very worst that can happen". Embarassment is rarely fatal. As a matter of fact we learn most of with we know in life, including talking to women, by out mistakes.

The first responder is an idiot. Just approach a woman you would like to have a relationship with and start making idle chat. Ask her out and if she says yes then good for you. Don't act too soon or too late. The first step is always talking.

First of all look at her hand to see if she is wearing a wedding or engagement ring so you don't embarrass yourself before approaching. And then try to get eye contact with her. If you get eye contact and a smile that is your go-ahead to approach. Walk up to her and introduce your self and ask her her name. Depending on the location where you are at ask questions having to do with the location. Just be yourself, it always works out that way. Be honest. dating is a numbers game my man, and the sooner you realize this, the more confident you will become, and confidence WORKS better than anything else when pursuing a woman

i would just start out with "hi im (insert name)" and then start talking to her about your surrounding, i.e. the weather, the furniture in the bar, the aesthetic of the restaurant, or if you are in the grocery ask her about some product you are thinking of getting

confidence is key. But look at the whole picture, that works for me. Think about how short our lives are, and how much time we waiste beating around the bush. Would you rather be happy now, or wait a few years and wonder the whole time. Just ask her, find out what she likes, what her goals are, what she accomplished with her day.
