for my Dad for his birthday? He is turning 61 (he is active, and does not look 61 at all), and pretty much has anything you would want. I cannot think of anything to give him. What do you buy an older man who has everything already? I am at a loss here. I need help!! Please be serious, no stupidity. Thanks

As for the stupidity part, I am sorry but some people say some silly things. I just did not want any gross answers, you know how some people are on here. Thanks!!!

I asked him if there was anything he would like, but he said..."nothing" That is a typical answer from him lol. This is why it is difficult.

here's a good but easy thing,
Find something he enjoyed as a child and try to get it for him.
maybe an certain candy, or song, or a old map of where he grew up.
Have your family send pictures of him and them together and write something nice about each one.
i don't think your dad needs a gift card or a ugly tie.
something that will bring back some fun memories I think would be great for him.
pictures of the different cars he has owned over his life or pictures of places he has been
It's all up to you
and great memories and conversations with your dad are the best gifts you can give.
how about pictures of him doing things with you when you were little. The ideas could be endless.
I truly hope this helps..
By the way great avatar

Dads and brothers can be so hard to buy for! Especially when you ask them what they want and they say "don't mind, anything" or "nothing!"
You could get him tickets for a show or concert.
When I get really stuck for what to buy someone I just take them out somewhere. Spending quality time with someone you love is priceless. Besides material things mean nothing, experiences and memories are much more special.

Depends how much money you want to spend. I like to buy people 'experiences' rather than physical gifts. Like going to a really nice restaurant, or if there is some dinner cruise boat that operates around your area, that could be nice. Concerts are my favorite to give to people. But you have to either like the same music, or sacrfice and go with him to something he likes. Baseball games would be great, he would be suprised, esp. if you don't really like sports. The point is, if it is a gift for HIM then you can just show you care by doing something he likes with him.

I am a male, 55, and the things I want at birthday times, are CD"S by my favorite artists, a good steak dinner with my children, my car washed and detailed, take me to the movies, a new tool for my shop, or a piece of sports equipment. Hope these help!

Take him out to dinner, just the two of you. Make him a Bday card like you would make as a kid and just let him know you're still his little girl. Things like that mean so much more than material things!

this is all the reservation type stuff here..stuff you need to do in advance...
OK lets start off here..you and what ever family you want to go out to eat...all of you or just the ones you chose...
then get tickets to what ever type of game he likes that's in your area...and you all go to the game and have fun..( you need to bring at least one camera with you ....so you can take tons of pictures....) also maybe buy the disposable cameras ( like they do at weddings ) and have the people that is going out to eat and going to the game with you..take what ever pictures of him and the big party that you have made..then they give the cameras back to you..and if they want a picture they can have them made ( or you can ) but then you make a photo album for you dad to of all the pics...
for one..you all go out to eat and have fun.
for two..you all go to game he likes and have fun
for two..you give him a photo album he can look at forever..
sounds like a plan to me...
if he does not like ball games take him to a play or an orchestra
Good Luck
and
God Bless

Get him a shirt or some golf balls. Also remember father's day is coming, a card for that separately would be swell as well.

It doesnt matter what you get him doll - he loves you and wants to spend time with you. He wants to know that his little girl loves him still and you wont find a present that can ever say that. :) Tell him happy birthday from me ;)

Why don't you buy him some nice cologne like Armani, or Obsession, or whichever is his favorite. I've always found good presents for family are good presents they'd never buy for themselves, like cologne or perfume.

Uhmm...why don't you make him something, i'm sure that would mean more to him than something you buy in the store....Whatever you get him i'm sure he'll like it anyway...i mean it's the thought that matters...oh and "no stupidity", sorry if my answer is stupid....
