Temptation and deception are Satan's favorite tools, right?

Isn't eternal life in paradise the greatest temptation one could be offered?

Don't the Bible and Quran offer eternal life to those that have faith?

How many times in history have religious leaders exploited the faith of their flock to commit great evil?

These so-called Holy Scriptures create a mass of followers who willingly commit horrific atrocities; they turn people into the Devil's playthings. It has happened throughout history and it is happening today. How can something that creates an environment where evil can thrive be anything but an instrument of Satan?

Faith is the Trojan horse that carries evil into your heart.

The holy Quran 2:30 ;
And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks and sanctify You." He (Allâh) said: "I know that which you do not know."

It is the choice and wisdom of Allah, and a day soon to come when every one will stood infront of Allah for accountability.

Gotta admit, the Quran does have quite a few discrepancies, like the "prophet" who originated it was apparently a pedophile, killed a whole lot of people for basically miniscule reasons, and bribes young men to kill themselves in the act of murdering others, for sex with virgins in heaven. Face it, if a virgin dies, would it really be heaven to be a sex slave for eternity, and would God ever use sex as a bribe? No way. The very fact that the Quran says that stuff would seem to nullify any possibility that God had a hand in its origination.

Offering eternal life for faith is great, but when you start bribing with sex its pretty obvious God is not the direction its coming from. Using a man as an example that molests a 6-year old under the guise of marriage is even more proof of the complete wrongness of the entire "book". So yeah, I think maybe the Quran is coming from a different direction than God.

Men have done evil throughout eternity, it started with Cain killing Abel. Sure, men have commited terrible atrocities on this world in the name of God, but did God tell them to do it? I'm thinking not. The evil is man's, not God's. It really doesn't take that much common sense to understand the bible, but evil people/groups, like Al Qaeda, the Taliban, the many atrocities of the catholic church, the KKK, etc., will twist the words so badly, they give the words entirely new and incorrect purposes. That evil is ours, not God's.

The first thing one needs to do when reading any "religious" book is to see if it's telling you something you know to be evil. God does not tell us to molest children, he doesn't tell us to murder innocent people, he doesn't tell us to commit suicide. If you getting that from what you're reading, then its not coming from God and its time to start questioning.

Well, as I don't believe in an entity called Satan, I would say No. It's the work of MAN. And mankind will do anything to be at the top, above others, admired from below, etc... It's the feel-good stuff in religions that keep people from admitting to the atrocities that leaders of those religions have done. It's a sad thing and unfortunately one that society will not break from any time soon.

The Bible is the holy word of God, the Creator of the universe. Everything from God is good, it is the people who are evil, not God. It's not the fault of God or the Bible that people are full of sin, or do horrid things in the name of "religion". Even Paul the apostle persecuted the church for a short time. Eternal life is not a "temptation", it's a promise. The HOLY Scriptures are Holy because they are from The God of all, they aren't just "so called" You had seven questions the rest are all yes and no.

The Bible, Quran, Torah and all other "holy" books are created individually by individuals from other worlds that are each seeking to please the ultimate God by multiplying and filling the Earth (with people who worship the "true" god and taking care of the earth. This was the first commandment to Adam and Eve.
Each individula hopes to get credit by eliminating the others then end up being at the right hand of God as a reward for their success. Jesus said that he would be at the right hand of God.
This has been going on since Earth was discovered by an individual that was on an explatory mission from Pluto.

Heaven isn't a temptation, as temptations are easy to come by, while achieving an afterlife in heaven takes a lifetime of hard work and dedication.

Those who murder and those who commit suicide are not granted paradise, as it says in both the Bible and the Quran.

What you're citing is not the result of faith, it's the result of people's innate fears allowing them to follow doctrines of mutual exclusivity. Faith, in and of itself, is simply believing in something one cannot prove. The tenets of various world religions have created people who tout their beliefs over others, and have defended those beliefs. Therein lies the source of the conflicts you've mentioned. Faith is not to blame. It's the "us" and "them" religions that some people place their faith in. In other words, faith is merely a form of conviction. The implementation of many organized religions are the source of actual strife.

Satan exists in the minds of frightened human beings who have been told their entire lives that anything bad that happens is the fault of the devil. We only have to look inside of ourselves to find true evil. It's a cop out to blame "Satan" for the things we humans do to each other in the name of religion. And that includes ALL religions.
