It would be great if everybody was always honest about their questions. It does get annoying when atheists try to flaunt their supposed superiority, or to trip the blind guys-- but you must remember, that by their lights, such things aren't wrong. They're just behaving like another kind of animal, or like a random collections of atoms.
I suppose they don't have any choice but to rant against God because that's just the kind of machine they are; they are doing what nature rolled the dice for them to do.
Sometimes trying to decide whether a person is sincere or not is part of the fun. Part of the challenge of writing a really good answer is to gauge your response and make it appropriate to the age, intellectual level and experience of the questioner (not "opponent".)
The way I see it, being nasty isn't going to help win anybody toward Jesus, so that's out. I don't attack people; I attack ideas.I won't hesitate to say that a particular idea is stupid, or illogical, or whatever. I'm also smarter than to criticize ideas that some people have so much emotional capital invested in, that they would take it as a personal attack on themselves.
Bottom line? You can never control someone else's response to your answer. You can be as right as the day is long, but if they won't listen, you might as well be dead wrong.

a million. what faith are you currently? I am One of over 7,000,000 Jehovah's witnesses. two. what faith have been you introduced up as? Catholic. three. when you stayed within the faith you have been introduced up as, why did you keep? and when you modified to a further faith why did you exchange to that faith? I noticed such a lot hypocrisy within the Catholic religion and I not ever felt convinced with the entire "mysteries" within the faith. I idea on the time that Catholics represented all christians, so I grew to be agnostic, no longer short of something to do with faith. I then began to wish solutions to my questions, and started watching for them. Then one in all Jehovah's Witnesses got here to my door and began displaying me from the Bible what the reality REALLY used to be. After asking many questions and most effective getting Biblical solutions from the Witnesses, I committed my lifestyles to Jehovah in 1987. PS. I'm scared for you with VOT.

Sadly, atheism along with theism are subject to generalizations and stigmas. Because atheism is a minority viewpoint, it faces more prejudice than theism. Only after both parties have discarded their misunderstanding of each other's and even their own sides can an intelligent discussion be had.
