One;

Respectable atheists are generally followers of logic. Logicaly speaking, the athiest knows that all he has to do is get a new bulb and replace the blown bulb. He doesn't ask God to give him light; he knows that if there is to be light in his house, he will have to put it there and he does so.

By the way, the assumption made above about atheists being large is simply a disgusting generalization made by a feeble mind with no other answer to atheism than an ad hominem argument.

Okay, I've heard this one, I'm trying to remember the punchline:

It's either:

1. None. Atheists don't believe in light bulbs.

or:

2. One. The atheist believes that each person must count on themselves to screw in the lightbulb and not count on a higher power to do so.

None; they're off in another joke about "screwing in a light bulb".

Wait, they leave one behind to try to figure out what "screwing on a light socket" means.

It takes one athesist to screw in a light bulb. It takes a congregation of smart *** "born agains" with "holy spirit" to figure out that they are being screwed. Then it take more than a minute.

Why, none; they'd rather just sit there cursing the darkness.

(Besides which, most atheists are kinda large, and you probably couldn't fit more than one on a light socket, anyhow.)

Only one atheist needs to hold up the lightbulb, but he doesn't need to screw since he believes that the universe revolves around MAN.
