Sometimes but not often in the early morning . It depends on what your tongue was doing before you went to bed. The majority of time I brush teeth tongue and floss before bed time, and if you've had one too many cocktails not only does your tongue feel like a shag carpet but your whole mouth smells like a sewer!!!

my tongue feels like shag because in the back of your tongue you have what is called taste buds wicth when you feel them they are bumpy and rough
