Local cops, you have been legally able to detain illegal aliens for violation of our immigration laws and turn them over to the INS for 10 years now. Why do you refuse to do so?

Even the cops know that this country is run by a great deal of illegal immigrants. They can do but so much before politicians get in the mix and tell them to ignore some of them.
But I know where you're coming from.

INS won't even bother to talk to you unless you have 20 or more at ONE scene. Don't be putting that garbage on local officers. Go harass the feds with it cause they are the ones dropping the ball.

Cops won't waste their time on fruitless stuff like that. They know the INS will just release them, and they'll be back in town in no time. And cops have better things to do than play Paco patty-cake.
The federal government has failed us.
