According to the USDA, a typical person should have about 60 grams of protein a day. If you are an athlete, active, or have special needs, you certainly need more (I have heard a recommendation of 1 gram per pound of body weight).

Most Americans get too much protein (when was the last time you heard of someone with a protein deficiency?). So unless you have special needs I wouldn't worry about it.

wel i'm not exactly sure how much you need but you need each kind of food a day to make yourself grow strong and healthy well just eat right and excersize and don't be lazy and you will start to feel better about yourself!! but you might find that information on a website if you really want to kno but you have to have some protien a day!!
