He is very nice but sometimes taks about gymnastics.The good thing is he still likes me.

what do the sports have to do with it? if you like him go out with him...but from what you are saying he has no respect for gymnasts or for what you do, but lucky you he still likes you?? thats wrong, could he do what you do? no i'm sure he couldn't, you shouldn't be with someone who doesn't respect you and should definitely rethink that part of your thought process. if he's going to bad mouth something you work so hard for no don't be with him, you can find people that make you feel bad anywhere, you certainly don't need to date them. be with someone that respects and encourages you in your choices.

If he likes you so much, why would he say bad things about something you like to do. He sounds like a jerk to me who only wants you to go with him to make himself look good. Someone that would say hurtful things to you before you go out with them can only get worse once you do go out with them. Think very hard about this before you do it.

let him talk and take a chance
show him some of your moves
teach him to apriciate the sport
He also seems very effected by peer presure.....
if he really likes you this will all be put aside
take the chance and go for it
