Note to Bachlava: Evolution does not claim a chimp turned into a human being, only that we share common ancestors.

There is no God. People are afraid of the end of their existence and so they've devised fantastical stories with a creator(s) and an afterlife or rebirth. This also makes it easier to credit a god or blame a devil when they come across something they do not understand, rather than admit they are ignorant. As a species, we simply aren't evolved or advanced enough to understand everything, but science has already shown that most of these religious theories are highly unlikely (if not impossible) to be real. We are a part of nature and will be recycled back into the world just as all matter and energy is. We are not above animals...we ARE animals. Wake up, people!

1. How many men have you met over 900 years old?

None. But before the flood the world was very, very different and peole lived longer.

2. Do you know anybody eaten by a fish who lived?
Personally, no. But that's because I live in Kansas and the fish we get here don't get much bigger than my forearm. However, it is possible for someone to live in the lungs of a whale for several days.

3. Have you ever seen dead people climb out of their graves and walk around?
Nope. Have you ever seen two cows give birth to a pig?

4. If you got leprosy would you go to a doctor or would you soak your big toe in pidgeon blood?
Today, I'd go to a doctor.

5. Have you ever seen a donkey talk in real life?
Nope. But I heard one got elected to office in Pennsylvania...

6. If anyone told you they had done all these things, what would you think. Would you believe them?
Probably not. But if generations upon generations of witnesses had supported it and all other evidence points towards it then ... well... yeah!

Poll for you:

1) How many chimpanzees have you seen turn into human beings?

2) Have you ever seen the salt pillar near the Dead Sea and the possible site of Soddom and Gomorrah that is in the very intricate shape of a woman?

3) Have you found Jesus' body yet?

4) Where did you get this nonsense about soaking your big toe in pidgeon blood if you get leprosy?

If you find a chimpanzee that turned into a human and/or Jesus' body, let me know!

1.people only lived that long in the antedeluvian era. the atmosphere was completely different, allowing for a much longer life.
2. only jonah (he actually was "swallowed"). pinnochio too, but we're talking real people i suppose. science confirms that a person could survive for a few days inside of a large enough whale. (whales were considered fish back then, they swam, therefore they were fish. the modern system of classification didn't come into effect until much later.)
3. climb out of graves, no. smith wigglesworth would perform miracles that consisted of raising the dead; many of whom were already embalmed. how's that for a miracle?
4. i would do whatever God says to do to get rid of it, even though nowadays leprosy is very rare and easily curable.
5. the actual terminology used is "as$", and yes, i have seen many talk. some type too.
6. depends who was talking.

1. Have you ever seen a child healed of cancer?
2. Have you ever seen a person who heard voices healed at a private prayer service?
3. Have you ever had someone offer you a car, who didn't know you. All the while you were praying for a car (specifically a minivan like the one a stranger offered to give you)...this has happened 3x for us.
4. Have you ever spoken English to people who don't know English and they totally understood every word you said?
5. Have you ever had God answer specific prayer?
6. Have you ever prayed for a pair of new cross-trainer shoes because you couldn't afford a pair & then have a friend ask if you wanted a pair of cross-trainers (exactly like you have been praying for...color & even size)? BTW- my friend had no clue I needed a pair.
7. Have you ever seen the face of a gang banger change after he accepted Jesus?
8. Have you ever seen a drug addict accept Jesus and loose their addiction immediately?
9. Have you ever prayed for a spouse with certain charicteristics & eventually marry that person (even down to the eye color)?
10. Have you ever gone from a godless criminal to a fully devoted follower of Jesus?
11. Have you ever went on disaster relief to help Katrina victims rebuild, do drywall sanding for three full days & not even have your deltoid get sore?
12. Have you ever seen someone get cured of AIDS through a prayer meeting (in Uganda)?
13. Have you ever seen someone with Turrets accept Jesus and immediately stop swearing?
14. Have you ever seen the body of Jesus?

Need I go on? God can do things that seem impossible. Be careful not to count things that can't be explained imperically.

**JFly, how do you KNOW there is no God?**

4. pigeon blood?

5. I don't speak their language.

6. I think there are alot of things people have not seen that are true.

The person who has raised this question I feel, his stomach is full. Why do u want to interpret unncessary aspects that are found in the Bible. You follow the ten commandments. You will be saved. You are raising doubts about religions. If you do not believe in religion do not believe it. Do not question the Almighty. You are naght before Him. You cannot understand his greatness unless u realise that how you were born. You are a naght before the Almighty. Remember the Da vinci's are rejected by majority. You will ask for HIS help when you will be hungry.

1. none, that was in Genesis.
2. no, only one did and he's already dead. (jonah)
3. no, but Jesus wasn't a human, He is God.
4. Leprosy isn't around much anymore. And if I did, and Jesus told me to soak my big toe in pigeon blood, I would.
5. No, HELLO, I wasn't alive 3000 years ago!
The Bible says it, and God wrote the Bible through men and I believe the Bible, so, yes.

What was the point of that question, anyway?

No neither have I seen Gravity, seen a million dollars, seen love, seen hate, seen a dinosaur, but I am intelligent enough to know that I have not seen everything from past, present and future. Does that poll help you to understand your beliefs or lack their of better. You would do well to take the lessons from the stories instead of looking for literal situations behind them. it might help in your queries and studies if you were to also look at all religions. Hope this helps!
