My first boyfriend and I met through a mutal friend when I was in High School.
Anyone that you meet could potentially be your boyfriend/girlfriend, but you don't "need" one. Sure they're nice to have, but never in your life should you think that you NEED someone. If that's how you feel then you should take a look at yourself, be independent and love yourself before trying to love someone else.

I found my long time boyfriend through knowing mutual friends and that is how it started out between the two of us. Before you knew it we have been together for almost 6 years! try going to clubs, mutual friends, parks, anything there really is no one right place. GOOD LUCK
