God had nothing to do with it. It's a ridiculous non-issue, and GWB ought to be embarrassed for employing such a shameless smokescreen to draw attention from things that ARE major issues. Or should be...

The Sins of the Body are the least of the Sins. I'd say Wrath is a bigger fish then lust, So I think God Is worrying more about Bush right now. Gay Marrage may be wrong, but we have free will for a reason, to use it. That a part of what makes this country great. Being able to choose. Gay are not trying to destroy Marrage. Thats Impossible. They just want to be reconized, thats it. Their not demanding Priests to marry them (as far as I know) They are going through a Legal road. I think this issue should be a State to State Issue like its always been.

...this world is made up of everyone's choices (since the beginning)
- like roe vs wade - it oughtta be up to each state - is how the balances of power were originally designed and intended..
- there's a war against western civilization, built (somewhat) on christianity, and a war against the building block of society, marriage - what's wrong with civil unions? why does the society have to change the whole meaning of marriage, and force preachers to marry same sex unions.. It's a spiritual war.. Look at how our society has changed in the last 50 years.. Kids used to ride their bikes all over, now even living in the country outside a very small town, would I let my children play in the front yard. NO way!! Gotta be downright paranoid every day.. Keep marriage, and put legal status on civil unions, afterall, it's God Himself who gave 'free-will'. So humans shouldn't legislate behavior.. {Nor should we be intolerant of, and out to get christians and christianity, either}
- "God is Love" 1 Jn 4:8 - all love. That's him. He "made life simple, but man makes it's complex" book of Ecclesiastes (bible)..

The vote wasn't a real attempt at banning gay marriage. All senate and congress know it would never pass. It's just a PR show to rally support from the religious right for the upcoming elections because even they are sick of Bush and most republicans and they are just throwing them a bone so they'll still vote republican.

No. This is ungodly and unnatural. In the beginning God created them male and female, and for this reason a man shall leave his family to be united with a woman.
God does not support gay marriage, He condemns it.

Your question is somewhat confusing, but I believe God had nothing to do with it. Man decided that. I believe God wants man to do what will lead to peace and love here on earth.

I really think God has more important things to worry about than what kind of crazy things the Legislature is up to.

Who cares? It happened, which is a thing for celebrating! Yay for the gays! I'm a hetero who says gay rights all the way; I'm not scared of my sexuality or what I might find if I examined it.

No. We are all free to make up our own minds. God didnt vote, people did, and that is what caused the result.

God has got to be sickened that this would even have had to come up. God tells us how He made us to live in His word, men just cant accept it.
