This morning I started bleeding pinkest brown spots. I'm taking birth control so my periods are always regular but i still have cramps when i am on it. today there is no cramps and it's 2 weeks before my expected period. I just switched my birth control 2 months ago so i think it isn't working. could the brown blood spots be from where the baby is implanting into my uterus?

No it just sounds like you are having an irregulary period. You probably arn't used to your new birth control yet.

When you switched your birth control a few months ago, did you have this same problem last month with your period? It could be that your body is getting used to the new medication you're on, and is acting sort of wonky. Especially if the hormones in the pill are stronger than the ones you were taking. The pill is pretty darn effective at preventing pregnancy, but there is a margin of error, both with the medication and taking it correctly. Did you miss a dose at any point during this cycle?

Yes, the spotting could be implantation bleeding. The best thing to do is to wait for your expected period date and get a test. Good Luck!!

well i called my doctor today for the same issue, except i haven't changed my birth control she told me to go ahead and take a test even though i have two more weeks until my expected period. i'm not sure what to do. i guess i will do what she says. Maybe u should take a test or call ur doc.

it most probably just the change of the pill, but really all you can do it wait until your period should be here and see if it comes or not i wouldn't worry to much about it just at the moment

doubtful. it's probably just breakthrough bleeding from ovulation. implantation bleeding would happen immediately before or right as you're expecting your period.

i really think people need to stop asking other people if they could be pregant - obviously if you've had sex you could be pregnant. its indredibly annoying when all the questions are - am i pregnant?? - could i be pregnant??? - omg my boyfriend and i had sex, am i pregnant??? - is it possible if i started my period on this date, could i be pregnant???

if you are sooo concerned ask your docter or wait...maybe....just maybe...you should take a pregnany test (gasp) omg who would've thunk.

I wouldn't worry to much about it. Wouldn't hurt to call into the clinic though.
