My father-in-law made delicious cucumbers in vinegar in Oklahoma. He has passed away and nobody got the receipe. Does anyone have a receipe that is delicious all the time?

I JUST MIX VINEGAR , WATER, AND SUGAR TO TASTE.
THEN ADD CUCUMBERS AND SILCES OF ONION AND
ALLOW THEM TO SOAK IN THIS MIX OVER NIGHT. IT IS
JUST A MATER OF TASTE. IF YOU WANT THEM MORE
SOUR JUST DON'T USE AS MUCH SUGAR. ADD A LITTLE
AT A TIME UNTIL IT HAS THE SWEETNESS YOU WANT!!!!

GOOD LUCK!

I'm not sure about what type. but you can try just placing some diced cucumber in apple vinegar. Other veggies like chile or pepper, onion or carrot need to be a little fried before adding vinegar.
You can also add some oregano or dried herbs.
Other way is just diced cucumber in the vinegar which comes with canned peppers.

Do you want it a bit sweet? If so, just add sugar to your taste.
