People get superstitious about birthdays. There were lots of Moms who refused to get labor induced yesterday because it was 6/6/6. It is just like knocking on wood and not walking under a ladder. It is black magic, some people believe in it and others don't.
The other big deal with birthdays is they say a lot about the personality of the person born on the day because of the alignment of the stars and planets. It is really kinda cool stuff. I am an Aquarius because I was born in Feb. You can get really detailed on these star charts based on when and where you were born. Check out the website below. They will do a free personality profile based on your start chart. Birthdays are about more than just parties, some people plan the exact day they want to have their baby based on astrology. Again, it can be seen as black magic, but I like it.

The day you were born is something to remember. No matter what you do in this world you are always asked for the date. But the Bible puts the celebration of birthdays in a bad light. The two birthday parties mentioned were observed by pagan rulers and terrible things happened at both.

It's the day a fetus becomes a person, or "living soul" to use the biblical term.

Prior to birth, a fetus has no special significance.

Umm!
If you're serious.
& wonder why we make such a fuss over a date coz it's lame.
Good for you.

Time, dates, days & years are Man-made, so why a birthdate is so importnant, is a mystery to me too!

It's when you are born. If you don't know it you can't fill out any form, get a license, buy alcohol, or do basically any legal action. It's QUITE important!
