Actually, Maxine is wrong, lizards are animals. They're not mammals, but they're still animals. I would say I would choose to be either a venomous exotic snake (hey, someone has to bite the Crocodile Hunter!) or a Great Blue heron. I grew up around many, many reptiles, including snakes. The Great Blue heron is my favorite bird.

A pet rock----oh wait a minute--that's not an animal, so if I could choose I'd choose to be a chameleon, but that's not an animal either, we know that's a lizard. Good question.

A Swan! You start out ugly but in the end you know you're going to be Beautiful. As an added bonus they can swim, fly and walk!

A cat. To a loving owner. How they are able to lie around all day and then wrinkle their noses at the food you put out for them when you come in from a hard days work beats me.

A dolphin because they live in the ocean they see things only we as human dream of, the ocean is a place of great mystery and I would love to unfold it everyday of my life.
