do we still have the american support in iraq? i know while on leave the support is not as strong as it was, is it because we have been forgotten? We still have many good people over there in harms way everyday, and yet it seems the america has slowly closed the door. and what is with the news now, i mean now the only thing on about iraq is mainly about soldiers gettin killed. well duh i would hate it too if that was all i heard, but you never hear about all the good we have done and how we have about 80 percent of iraq on its feet. but i bet u had no idea bout that one

I support you brother!!! The media is a bunch of liberals showing all of the things that they want. Never showing the good that you are doing over there. You keep your head down and get home safe. You are doing a great JOB!!!

I believe that the war in Iraq has protected many innocent Americans. So I support it. Those Radical Islamic groups who would use their money and resources to launch attacks on innocent Americans are using their money and resources to attack American troops in their back yard. We pull out of Iraq and then they start preparing for another 9/11.

By, "they" I mean any Islamic group that does not like the USA. Not just AlQueda.

My co-workers and I are behind you.

We are aware of the efforts you all are putting into infrastructure (schools, roads and hospitals). The problem is that people want to read the story "Car bomb kills 7" not the one "US Army Engineers build school"

Everyone talks about how Iraq is another Vietnam; little do they know how the press is treating our presence the same way. All of the good that was done is ignored. Unfortunately, all of the good that you are doing is ignored in favor of a headline that sells papers.

Good luck and God Speed.

You are absolutely right on what you say. We have done alot of good over there and continue to do good...But for what? They continue to kill our troops even though we are there to help...They continue to kill their own people that have accepted our help and have actually made an effort to change their country. But I feel we are wasting our time because there will always be a group of Iraqi people that want to continue on with Saddams ways of life...We will never get Iraq to comform completely...So when do we pull all our people out of Iraq and let the Country of Iraq fend for itself?

The support for our troops is still there. I think most of the American people realize that the Haditha situation is an anomoly; the main criticism of it is how it was covered up/ignored by the upper echelons.

My support for the troops means I respect their commitment, and I don't want any more of them to die, and I want them out of Iraq right now.

Yes, there is still much support, both for the troops and for the mission. Those of us who care enough find many ways to learn the whole truth of what's going on over there, not just what the lamestream media decides is news.

News reporters have lost the trust of many Americans. As it should be.

Bless you for caring about our soldiers & the support hey deserve. We that support are still here but the media does interview us because we are not the big story. Stay the course & have my prayers with all the military.

Nope. Heard about troops shooting pregnant women on their way to the hospital though. The media tells the stories they think will get us to pay the most attention. The 'troops did good today' stories don't capture that kind of interest.

Of course we still support!

But, we have politicians who want us to lose in Iraq so they can perhaps regain power in Congress. How evil!

And we have a news media who despises our military. They have ever since Viet Nam.

I support our troops 150% it's the war itself I question, I can't see anymore of our service people losing there lives for something that will probably never change.
