I would go back to the day of my car accident.
Long story short.... It cost me two months in a coma and another 6 months in the hospital learning how to walk again, among other things, like whole new levels of pain. I was in the passenger seat, the driver got a busted lip from the steering wheel after slamming her minivan, the passenger side-my side, into two small/medium oak trees at the bottom of a steep hill with a sharp turn at the bottom. I can say that since then I have gone to the city council and they have posted a warning sign telling of BOTH the steep hill and sharp curve, there was none at the time of my wreck. I am now permanently disabled because of that accident, titanium is holding my right arm and my right leg together- I had to learn to write with my left hand(not really that big a deal, I suppose)- I hurt all the time- one of my lungs collapsed while they were cutting me out of the vehicle, the other on the way to the first ER- they wanted to pronounce me dead three separate times- at the wreck, at the first ER and at the University hospital they finally transferred me to, all before I finally got into surgery, where I spent just under 13 hrs being put back together............. I know........I'm still alive and I didn't lose anything, but yeah, I'd change that.....

I would probably change the day I decided not too wait for my at the time boyfriend who had moved to florida for college. We weren't seeing each other that much but where in love. I just always wondering what might have been if we stuck it out. I miss him. Don't get me wrong i am very happy with my husband now. but always have in the back of mind that what would my life be like now if i went in a different direction.

I would go back 15 years ago and never move to indiana. I wouldnt have quit school, And i wouldnt have dated all those losers i dated. And i wouldnt have married my first husband. See i have gotten stronger just by learning from my mistakes. I would have changed alot in my lifetime. But i am happy where i am at now. I have come a long way.

August 14, 2005. That was the day my best friend and I started spreading apart. That was the day I met someone else and slowly but surely came to like her better than my old friend. I wish I could have just held on a little longer to that friendship. I'm young so I haven't had any traumatic experiences but this one saddened me. Now I can't even have a decent conversation with my old friend anymore, we just say things like "hi, how are you?". Both of us are sad but too scared to remember the old times...too scared to bridge the gap anymore.
