People are grossly egotistical, prideful, haughty, lifted up within themselves. They all over rate their place on earth, because it is everything to them to be better than the next person. It's really not a question of religion; but rather ego. And refusal to comfortable with themselves and who they are.

I think that religious people want non-religious people to believe what they believe and don't understand why they won't, and non-religious people really just want to be left alone. I'm religious, and i'll share where I can, but I always try not launch attacks on agnosts, atheists or people of different faiths - as far as i'm concerned it's a form of racism. It'd be great if we could all get along, but there are always going to be people in the world who are going to make that impossible. Never give up the good fight, I say, we can always try to make peace!

That's what religion is all about, forcing your beliefs on others. I think it's the whole "I'm so enlightened!" thing. Faith is a pretty fragile thing to begin with and the slightest bit of rejection to the idea gets peoples backs up. I personally do not follow any organized religion, what gets me though is how arrogant some of these holy rollers can be, yet when challenged all they do is spout off something they have memorized from a book. That really gets old after awhile and pi$$es people off.

People on both sides of that fence attack the other out of fear. Sometimes, anger & hatred along with bigotry are mixed in. I believe fear of being proved wrong is the main force. If people listened to another view they may be convinced it is correct. Then, especially the religious, are left without anything to hang onto .Nonreligious people get angry because they get tired of religious people using religion to excuse bad behavior like killing & maiming their own people & others. Also they feel judged by others who feel they are not as good.

I agree, absolutely, with you but...think about it for a moment.
Witch hunts and martyr burnings, the Spanish Inquisition, repression, guilt, fear, are all products of control of our so-called Spiritual Leaders. Believe or die has long been the mantra of religious society. This has gone on in every country in every age. A few incredibly brave people have stood up and raised their voices against this cruelty only to be horribly crushed.
Even today there is too much injustice for people to remain silent on the matter, and too much fear of being overthrown for this ever to change.

In the heavens also there are wars, between all the false gods that run all the warrior religions, the one true spirit I am who I am says he is not of was or of killing.
Religion is also of control and arm of government to do down the people, all for ourselves jack blow any one else

Because they believe that they are right (whether they believe or not) and feel like everyone else who does not feel the same way is wrong and should change to be like that person (the attacker).

Well there are a tiny minority of racists, in every country, which hate other races, because of a reason simply stupid enough to answer, as loosing their jobs to people from other countries and with different races, which I mean to say they are basically jealous of people from other other countries.

The truth behind your question's real answer is that, the people of the west are as pure as gem and ver simple, they don't understand the nasty tactics of their Long reigned Satan Governments, which misguide them to wrongful/illegal wars around the world, to basically kill un armed religious people.

Thanks, Bye.
