This is not a no cal soup but itis low cal and low fat.
I don't know anybody that has followed this diet perfectly but everybody that has tried has lost weight.
Veggie Soup Diet / Detox
1 or 2 cans of stewed tomatoes, pureed
1-2 large green onions (optional)
1 large can of no fat broth
1 pkg soup onion soup mix (optional)
1 bunch celery
2 cans green beans
2 green peppers
2 lbs carrots
Season with salt, pepper, curry, parsley, hot sauce, &/or Worcestershire.
Cut veggies in small to med pieces, cover with water/broth and boil fast for 10 mins. Add tomatoes. Reduce to simmer and cook until tender.
Drinks:
6-8 glasses water everyday, unsweetened juice, tea, coffee, cranberry juice, skim milk.
Day One:
Eat fruit except bananas. Cantaloupe and watermelon are lower in calories that most other fruits. Eat only soup and fruit.
Day Two:
Eat fresh, cooked, canned raw veggies. Try to eat green leafy veggies, stay away from dry beans, peas or corm. Eat the veggies along with the soup. At dinnertime have 1 baked potato with butter. Do not eat fruit today.
Day Three:
Eat soup, fruit and veggies (no potato).
Should have lost up to 7 lbs by today.
Day Four:
East at least three bananas and as much skim milk as you can drink. And eat the soup.
Day Five:
Beef and tomatoes. Up to 10-20 oz of beef and a can of tomatoes or as many as 4 tomatoes. Eat the soup at least once today.
Day Six:
Beef and veggies. Eat all the veggies and beef you want today. You can have up to 3 steaks with green leafy veggies but no potato. Eat the soup at least once today.
Day Seven:
Brown rice, veggies and unsweetened fruit juice. Eat the soup at least once today.
No Wheat!
No Bread! (Or bread like items, e.g. no crackers, no tortillas, no pitas, etc.)
No Carbonated Drinks! (Not even diet)
No added sugar or honey!
No chocolate bars!
No fatty salad dressings on the salads!
No Fried Food!
No Alcohol!
Eat the soup anytime you feel hungry. Eat as much as you wish.
Because everyone’s digestive system is different, this diet will affect everyone differently.
You can eat broiled, boiled or baked chicken instead of the beef.
You can substitute broiled fish for the beef on only one of the beef days.
