I have no money for things like life coaches and such. I've found that the personality tests you take to find out what job you should do aren't the most accurate. My problem is that I have TOO MANY interestes and passions. Is there some deeper more extensive test? Anything online? I'm 26 and want to do so many things, but I can't afford to go "find myself" or to go from job to job, major to major. Any advise?

I would suggest reading the book "What Color is Your Parachute?" for starters. Many times you won't know what you should do until you try it - and at 46, I'm just starting on the career I think I was 'meant' to do. HOwever, the experiences I've had leading up to this point were crucial to making me the person I needed to be to do this job. Nothing is a waste. You can be a lifelong learner, and always add something valuable to your life. Begin by volunteering in different areas of interest!

pick one or two of your many interests that appeal to you more than the others. It is great that you have such a zest for life and want to do so many things, but there are only a few things that will appeal to you more than others. Try choosing an interest or passion that not only appeals to your inner self, but one that also satisfies your physical and intellectual needs as well. You can dabble in the other interests in your spare time, that way you can still experience all that life has to offer and when you do find what you want, you will have not only experience, but peace of mind knowing that in finding yourself, you didnt miss out on life in the process.

The first two answers are full of wisdom. I would enjoy meeting those people. I was in your shoes 40 years ago so I understand exactly what you are saying. I did have a moral compass, that of honoring God in all I do, and I hope you have that as well. But the first writer suggested that you volunteer in a couple of your interest areas, and I want to encourage you to do that. It is in volunteering that you feel free to expand and express yourself. The job you take will more than likely constrict you, but the areas in which you volunteer will allow you to flower! God bless.

See if you can do this. What is the job you hate doing the most? Then go apply for it, being ready for an interview, and just see what will happen. Hey, you just do not know, it is possible when you apply for the worst job you hate doing the most, you could possibly be exalted to a much higher position. The Bible reads to humble yourself before men (mankind) and you will be exalted.
