I'm considering counting calories for my new diet. But when I go out to eat, how do I know how many calories are in a hamburger or a frosty or anything else for that matter??

It is impossible to know what calories are in what foods as the foods use different ingredients so it will vary from place to place.

You can 'guess' by getting the list of ingredients and then listing how many calories they have, but its probably not accurate.

Some restaurants have calorie list of their foods by request.

Make your choices ahead of time and look 'em up online...Google's great...After time, it'll begin to become automatic and you'll just know. You could also consider a program like Atkins/South Beach, which works extremely well and doesn't require calorie counting...Good luck!
