There's pros and cons either way.
If you're goal orientated then sometimes having a boyfriend can deter you from achieving what it is that you want to.
If you find the right sort of person who has the same ideals and ethics as you do, having someone to share life's trivialities with can be rewarding.
Regardless of if you choose to remain single or become involved, you should give yourself time to know who you are, what it is you want from life and what's truly important to you. Good luck!

If your young why have a boyfriend go out and have fun!! Now if your older like say mid. to late 20s then yea it's nice to have a boyfriend.

It honestly depends on the situtation. When you're really young, I think of it as time you could have spent doing something else that's fun. If you truely love the guy (not puppy love), then it would be better. But if it's just because he's the coolest or "hottest" guy around, then it's not worth it.

With a boyfriend you have someone to go with (ect) but when your single you have more freedom as you dont have to tell someone else where your goind, who your seeing, ect.
It is better to just wait till you find someone you like as to just have a boyfriend to 'have one' (not be single) as this will probably not work out.

It all depends. For me right now, having a boyfriend isn't a priority. I have two teenagers and don't need my life to no be any more complicated that what it already is.

I must say that having a boyfriend has its perks but when you see someone else that you want knowing that they are off limits is the most difficult part.
