lamisil (you take it for 3 months) and it takes about 2 more months so that you can totally see the difference. its very expensive though. you can get it cheaper at mexico.

nail fungus typically takes around 6 to 8 months for the nail to grow in completely healthy. You could use the perscription lamasil or you could use tea tree oil, one drop on the infected nail(s) twice a day for 6-8 months...

It would depend on what type of fungus we're talking about. It could be something simple that could be sucessfully treated with regular topical ointment applcations or it could be a deep seated infection that can only be cured via oral meds or a combination of both. The best way to know would be to consult with a skin specialist.

you can see your doctor, and ask what would be good. tht would be the most effective thing. They also sell small patches tht go on top of your nails. they are supposed to cure the nail fungus tht you might have, but i'm not sure how effective tht would be. your best shot would be to ask your doctor what he thinks would work best, or if he/she can do anything. good luck!

There is a new medication out called Tinecide...you can find it at Walgreens and other drug stores...supposably it can permeate thru the nail bed ...drug rep says it works better than lamisil...not sure..hubby is trying it..takes 3-4 weeks.....

im not sure if it works or not but i got an email awhile ago about helpful household products and uses u didnt know about and it said that if you soak your (foot im assuming) in listerine it kills nail fungus. makses sense since it is strong medice that kills germs and stuff in your mouth
