So do you just look up the most random things ever and try to use it to prove that Christianity doesn't exist? I'm starting to be convinced that secretly you DO believe in Christianity because you so desperately want it to be false. Read the book The Case For Christ. The dude that wrote it hated Christianity, was a reporter in Chicago and went out to prove that Christianity was a lie. It might help answer some of your questions by people who have actually studied this stuff.

come on folks the bible is a great literary work it has everything. romance, intrigue, war, betrayal, lust, sin.it has everything that makes a book worth reading.but lets face it that book was not writin way back when to be use as a guide for life in the year 2006. unless of course you believe that Mary really was pregnant by god and that Jesus was really his immaculate child. i think that if this were the case they would have kept better records of the first thirty years of his life.the truth is there may be some fact in its pages and then it could all be a work of fiction. events that happened two thousand years ago have little bearing on my life today other than entertainment.from books and movies.what we need to focus on is what we have for sure. we have hunger, we have homeless. we have children dying of disease. don't waste time on things that are pointless.all religion is in place because at one point or another in time its structure made a king or monarch of some sort feel better about sins he or she had committed.if you want to know god then live life the way you feel is good for you.help someone who is in need instead of buying the preacher a new car .give blood be an organ donor. read to a child . help the elderly.donate food to a shelter.fund a science lab. but don't worry over who was telling the truth 2000 years ago.

No religion is full proof, meaning that people need a little bit of faith to believe in them, doesn't matter if your an Atheist or Tibetan monk. Personally i believe in Christianity; and if it is wrong, oh well, but I faith in my beliefs. Now about the Babylonian king, who are you talking about? Nebuchadnezzar? I don't think baal is still worshiped today, I may be wrong but i don't think so.
Good Luck

I promised earlier that I wouldnt attack another faith. I would hate to seem hypocritical if I said that the Christian faith was a lie. My religion teaches that hatred towards others is not accepted, even if they are your mortal enemies (Muslims). But I am not one to tell someone what is right or wrong or tell them, to worship my faith. It is the persons decision as to which lie to follow. LOL. Just kidding about the lie part. It depends on what religion fits with your beliefs and what schools of thought you choose to follow.

The Babylonian King worshipped the fish God DAGON.
DAGON was a HUGE HUGE stone statue, almost as high as the Pharoh Statues in Egypt of old time. This statue weighed a 'gazillion' TONS!
When the Ark of God was put in DAGON's temple overnight, the next morning, DAGON was fallen flat upon his face before the Ark of God.
The priests of DAGON hoisted him up [block and tackle?], and placed him again right side up. Many people and many hours to do this.
The Ark of God was kept overnight again in DAGON'S temple.
The next morning, DAGON had fallen over AGAIN, but this time, his hands and feet were broke off, and were in the 4 outermost corners of the temple!
God is awesome!

Well, um, I believe that there is a good chance that this is the truth.
History (and much of what is done in religion is just history/storytelling) is all written by the winners. The losers don't really have a chance to tell their side of the story, and heck, would you really believe them anyway, they lost.
So yes, it's entirely possible that the entire bible is in part false and is designed as religious propaganda.
Just my opinion.
Love and peace as always.

i am a christian. i don't follow the traditional things, because i do what i feel in my heart. God is in my heart. i feel that people are going to believe what they want to believe (like you may not believe in Christianity), and it doesn't matter how much proof you have. all religion derived from one religion, who knows what the original was. think about the old testament was before Christ, and Christianity is derived from believing that Christ is the Savior. That goes to show that there are loopholes. the bible may be the truth, but it was indeed written by man. i don't think one more blow toward the religion is gonna change my mind. i know my God and i know who my Savior is.

first off i wouldn't go as far to say that Christianity is a lie but i would say they stole alot from other religions (mostly pagan) and tried to cover it up and hide by saying the other religions are wrong and KILLING their followers to hide what they did so the pagans were the good guys we didn't kill people to scare people into believing one thing and not thinking for themselves we have a brain for a reason why not use it and think for ourselves instead of having someone else tell us what to think PAGAN PRIDE LIVE IT BREATHE IT BE IT
