My pastor put it this way. We're compassionate beggars telling other beggars where the food is. We found something great and we want others to know where we got it from.
It's not just Christians today. Christians have always been "radical" since the beginning of Christianity. I like that term.
radical- tending or disposed to make extreme changes in existing views, habits, conditions, or institutions
I just wish I was living up to that standard. I've been really lazy and need to get up off my butt...

Maybe you need to look up the definition of radicals in the dictionary. People speaking in defense of their religion are being radical but thank God there are few extremist in Christianity. I am sure you guys wouldn't try this against Islam.
Would it be okay if we went on the streets burning and destroying, would you consider Christians radical then? Just like you have your opinion about something, i think we have the right to our opinions too if we feel something be spoken is not true.
Think about it, it is the height of unfairness to say we should not speak out against somebody that speaks directly against us, would you consider it if it was you in the receiving end?

Why are we radical? Because we have beliefs that we are willing to take a stand for? Because we don't just submit to what society is doing? Because we don't accept some practices others feel are ok? Because we believe we have a calling to tell the Good News to everyone so others may come to know Christ? I get tired of people bashing Christans with hypocritical statements like "They need to be more tolerant" Funny, thats not being very tolerant of our beliefs now is it?

So Radical? As in like if you threw a party and went all out? If like that then its because God is so Awesome! I mean, what would you do if you found out that the ruler of the world wanted YOU! Its a great feeling. You just want to do everything you can for him. I mean, its totally worth it. He did so much for us.

Some are, but not every one is. Many and most Christans "who are not Catholic or Mormon) Believe that you can live your life the way you want as long as you accept Jesus as your lord and savior. Most chose to live the way they interpret the bible and what they think is right. Is that radical?

Because they don't consider and live by the fruits of the spirit.
Galations 5:22,23
On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
