A finch is a type of bird. It is small enough to have as a pet (like most other birds) if you are interested in having one as a pet, you can find them I know at local pet stores (ex...Petsmart, Petco, ect.....)

A small brown bird that usually lives in the wild and you may be able to get them in a bird shop too. Birds are interesting creatures with special needs and need special food and special chew sticks. Read up on birds both in the wild or tamed ones from your local library or click on to wikapedia.com for more info. Animals in the wild are precious gifts for us humans to watch and learn from.
