This way, he gets your email address and opens up another way to communicate with you.

I think he's probably hiding something... he can post it on his profile long enough for you to look at it and even make a copy of it and then take it down again ... either that or he's computer dumb and doesn't know how. But i wouldn't trust it, honestly because an email could definately carry a virus. So please to be careful and tell the guy not to email it but put it on his profile. If there are too many conditions on what he wants.... DON"T do it... that's a sure fire sign that he's up to something.
God bless you hon May he keep you safe and give you wisdom.

Well, I believe it may depend on which website it is. If he isn't posting his picture on a site such as myspace then there probably isn't something right about this guy. Most every guy on there posts at least one picture if they're real. If it's a site such as Match.com then maybe he's not posting a picture because he'd be embaressed if someone he knew saw him.
I want to say that in most cases there is something to be concerned about if he wants to send you a picture only through e-mail. The picture may not be him.
Hmm...have him send the picture and see how realistic it is to be him. DO NOT MEET THIS GUY IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS! If you do make sure it's in a public place and that you're with a friend.

I am also wondering about the same thing. Instead of using the "Send File" button....and I had come up with a theory. Either they don't know how to send the file by any other means, or they just don't like to.

He might be older than what he says he is or just not think of himself as attractive.
You should just keep talking online (to avoid danger, meaning not meet)
but if you decide to meet him make sure that you take a friend and it is in a public place.

It depends. One guy emailed me a picture that was obviously fake and from a website. I was like, "delete and ignore" and cut off all communications. Another time, I talked to a "doctor" who said he didn't post his pic so his patients wouldn't know. It sounded like a load of poop. I think he just didn't want his WIFE to know. LOL. Good luck!

Most likely he is hiding his age, but it wont hurt anything for him to send the pic. Best wishes

I think you might be trying to read too much into this. I do not even use my real name much less my real picture. However, if you were an excellent detective you might be able to figure it out but you would have to work at it.
Have him email the foto and leave it at that.

Your "red flags" have already gone up. Listen to your gut. If he's hiding his information, just to get your personal e-mail----you need to htink about it?!! What's there to think about?! Cut the creep off--he's probably gross. Do yourself a favor and leave this guy alone.
