Where is the biblical "heaven"?

Question

Most Christian cults claim Jesus was physically resurrected and ascended to heaven.

Matter (human bodies) cannot travel faster than the speed of light. Our visible universe extends for billions of light years.

How could Jesus have ascended into heaven in the flesh unless heaven exists in our visible universe? And, why hasn't it been discovered by astronomers given its relatively close proximity?

As a reference for how far a "light year" is:

The center of our galaxy, the Milky Way, is about 26,000 light years away. The Galaxy is about 100,000 light years across.

Jesus has only been dead for less than 2,000 years, so he would still be in our galaxy somewhere. (2,000 light years)

There's a verse in Phillippians about our "glorious bodies" which will not be like the ones we have. I'd cite it, but you won't read it.

Heaven is not a place in the physical 3-D sense, but since I've never been there, I can't describe it. You wouldn't want to hear it anyway.

It is possible for matter to travel faster than light, at least in theory - it depends on what perspective you are judging the speed from, and whether you are following Special or General Relativity. I'd tell you the paper citations, but you wouldn't read them.

Orthodox Christianity teaches that Jesus ascended into heaven. Heaven exists outside of time and space...outside of the realm of the physical. Therefore, it does not exist as a "place within our visible universe". While Jesus rose from the grave in bodily form, His body was transformed in it's makeup/nature (1 Corinthians 15).

We are a Three Part Being: Spirit(Immortal), Soul( Mind, Will, and Emotions) and Body(Flesh and Blood). Our Spirit lives within the body. But The Spirit is eternal. Satan cannot harm the spirit. Only the Body and can torment the soul (our thoughts, feelings, ect.)

God is a mystery, which makes him so fascinating. The more you develop a relationship with God (Christianity is NOT a religion it's a relationship), the more he'll reveal to you things about him.
It's not for us to know where Heaven lies. All believers know is that there is A Heaven because scriptrue says so and because there have been accounts where God has taken believers to Heaven to see glimpses of it (Mary K. Baxter, Jesse Duplantis). I believe Heaven exists, but the location doesn't really matter to me because Christ dwells inside of me, and when I do know where and what Heaven really consists of (in the end), I be in awe of God, the one who creater of all things.

Scientifically, it would be in another dimension overlapping our own reality. But, that's my theory.

I also believe such a place negates many of the known logics in our known universe: dimension and time. Such a place is above a concept of "time." Time is irrelavent. It is but a measure of the logical world.

I can only speak from the Jewish perspective on this.

Heaven is not physical, therefore terms such as "where" have no meaning. Heaven is a state of being, not a place.

Jesus was not human. He lived on earth as a mortal for many years, but when he was resurected he came back in his true form. While you search science for answers, remember, God created Science. Just something to think about. ;)
