The general belief is no. There were many artists who thought about it like you, and in most paintings on religious themes from the Renaissance you would see Adam and Eve painted without the belly button on some paintings, and with them on others (like Michaelangelo's creation). There was a huge argument around this, because on the one hand, they were never born, but on the other, they should be the model for all mankind.
You can point that out to your date in a museum, and look like you know what you're talking about :)

somewhat related to this. Michaelangelo had a huge argument with the pope at the time about painting adam with a belly button on the ceiling of the cistine chapel. He eventually won and was allowed to paint the belly button but a series of other popes has cover it and removed the covering and so on and so forth over the past couple of hundred years.

Whatever you want. He is a made up character and a fictional character so he can have whatever you want him to have. But the real answer is the first man did develop from apes and yes, apes have bellybuttons. Evolution is fact, don't forget that.

Haha, good question. If Adam was not in the womb, then he never had an umbilical cord and therefore, not belly button. So I'm going with a no on this.

Good question, kind of like the chicken and egg question right.
Well since man is molded in the shape of good, and all men have a belly button, I am sure god gave him one for fun. Where else would he store his spare lint? How would he allow eve to do body shots? These are important questions that need to be considered.

That's an age-old question that we may never know the answer to... I think probably not though since there would have been no umbilical cord, since he apparently wasn't born. It would be scientifically impossible. Of course, Adam's existence out of no where is also scientifically impossible, so you never know!

Difficult to answer this one. Scientists and researchers are still trying to figure out how man evolved, so it's difficult to say how Adam looked or what were his physical characterstics.

A belly button is where the umbilical cord attaches in utero. Adam didn't come from in utero...so no umbilical cord...and no belly button.
