In Detroit it's around $2.79 to $2.89 a gallon for the last few weeks, it peaked at about $3.09 for about a week, a month or so ago. But every week or two a couple stations around town will sell it for about 50cents less per gallon for promotion or a way of thanking their customers. And most gas stations donate a percentage of their profits to local schools or youth groups. The local news lets people know where the cheapest gas is everyday, because you'll see as much as a 20cent discrepancy between stations across the street from each other.

I'm in Lancaster County, Pa. I'm currently paying $2.69/gallon for the cheap stuff. I've seen gas prices along the turnpike over the holiday weekend reaching $4.03/gallon for the cheap stuff. I will pay up to $3.50/gallon to get me to work, ect. Gas prices are too high for some peoples budgets already.

Southwest Norway, 11.92 NOK per liter. That's $7.41 USD per gallon, and that's a pretty normal price here.
